What is Wildblume?
Wildblume is an extremely ambitious student short film that shows love and compassion in the most horrendous circumstances.
Please say more...
Wildblume tells the story of Klaus, a young German military recruit, who joins the military to bring honor to his family and his country. However, he did not realize what he was getting himself into. When Klaus is ordered to execute innocent civilians in a small French farming village, he must rise above his orders and stand up for what he believes in.
Wow, this is powerful stuff!

Yes. Let’s face it, German occupied France during WWII isn't the first place someone would go looking for a kindhearted story, but we did. What we have found is more than anyone will ever expect, a heart, in the mostly heartless Nazi German soldiers.
Uh, did you just say Nazi's?
That's right. We fully understand the controversy our film may face, but this is a risk that we simply NEED to take. We believe that this heartfelt story is going to touch the lives of the viewers and open their eyes towards a much bigger picture.
I understand. So, why is this film being created?
Wildblume is an Azusa Pacific University production, not only intended for the festival circuit, but our goal is to continue setting the standards high for films being produced out of APU.
